Engine Blow-by – does it need a rebuild?

The Engine Blow-by Pack includes two very effective additives designed specifically to overcome engine blow-by and excessive engine oil use, avoiding an engine rebuild.

  • piston with sludge and hard carbon causing engine blow-byFTC Decarbonizer, a unique product, safely burns off cylinder glaze and carbon from combustion and exhaust spaces (including turbochargers). Over time, it restores and maintains clean top piston ring grooves for ongoing compression control, as well as oxidizing hard-carbon cylinder glaze, effectively de-glazing the cylinders while the engine is operating. The ongoing benefit of continuing to use FTC Decarbonizer will avoid these carbon-related problems returning.
  • Flushing Oil Concentrate, a heavy duty, solvent-free engine flush concentrate allows operators to restore full cleanliness to the entire crankcase, removing all engine sludge and freeing sticking piston rings (including the oil-control ring) to restore cylinder compression and control engine blow-by and excessive oil use. This pack is usually suitable for small to mid-size vehicles and machinery; cars and light trucks, tractors, small boats, stationary generators, etc. with engines up to approximately 6.0 liter engine displacement (370 cubic inch), and having up to 16 quarts (4 gallons/19 liters) oil capacity and achieving approximately 15MPG (15L/100km) or better.

Mini Plus Pack contains –

  • 64 fl oz of FTC Decarbonizer

This pack is most suitable for trucks etc. that cover a lot of miles relatively quickly, e.g. long distance OTR Truckers.
